Who we are
Witnes is a personal journalling tool built by Aethyra AI. It helps people document their experiences before and after neurodivergence assessments. We are based in the UK.
What data we collect
- Your email address — used for account creation and login.
- Journal entries you write — stored securely and associated with your account.
- Tags and intensity ratings you select or confirm.
- Anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature interactions) via PostHog.
- Error logs via Sentry — these do not include your journal content.
How we use your data
- To provide the journalling and pattern analysis features.
- Your journal text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate summaries and identify patterns. It is not used to train AI models.
- To send account-related emails (e.g. email confirmation).
- To monitor and fix errors in the app.
